BHMS

BHMS or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is an undergraduate degree programme of five and a half years including a year of internship. In BHMS course (Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery), candidates gain knowledge of homeopathy medicine and surgery. After the successful completion of a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degree, a student is awarded a degree and is renowned as a Homeopathic Doctor.

The sole gateway to get admission in any of the medical courses, including BHMS, is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Students need to pass 10+2 with 50 per cent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology along with a minimum pass in each individual subject. The candidates must also have studied English as a core subject. BHMS admission process includes filling of the application form, issuing of admit card, appearing for the entrance exam, declaration of results and counselling process.
